Organizations partner with us in a retainer-like model where we counsel, consult with your leaders, and train your people. This model allows TBCC to come alongside your staff to help your people receive genuine biblical counseling, training, and support.

We believe pastors have authority over the soul (Heb. 13:17), not counselors. Thus, our partnerships are designed to have pastors as involved as they can be in the counseling process.

TBCC recommends that all counselees donate to counseling for the sake of having some “skin in the game,” but a small donation for the counselee can also help ensure that costs are not prohibitive. That's our model.

Shepherding can be challenging, especially if there are legal issues, medical issues, safety issues, and government agencies involved. Our partnership allows you to consult with an experienced biblical counselor who can help you with your situation.
Transformed Partnerships
At Transformed, we partner with Christian organizations and churches to provide trained, experienced, and kind biblical counseling. Each organization has different needs, but the thrust of why we do what we do is to ensure that each organization can receive the “mutual benefit” of a team of qualified biblical counselors who will come alongside them to support and care for their people. A pharmacist in Arkansas who started a partnership with us to help his customers. He wanted to provide an alternative to the hopelessness of more-and-more psychotropics without any lasting change to his customers. He can now recommend biblical counseling to those that would otherwise receive another psychotropic to a potential medication cocktail.
Another partner is a mature church in California. They are partnering with Transformed to primarily consult and train. As you (may) know, we have counselors who are replete with experience in addictions, foster/adopt, autistic-like tendencies, school counseling, self-harm, and many other issues. This partner church brings us in to meet with their counselors and core group in order to better equip the church to do the work of ministry.
Transformed doesn’t want to usurp the role of the local church or the pastor. That philosophy of ministry is short-sighted and, frankly, never works. Our goal is to have a relationship like Paul did with the Philippians, one that is mutually edifying. Whatever organization—from schools to churches to pharmacists—we want the sufficient and authoritative Word of God to bear fruit in the lives of people. It’s my personal vision that Transformed can do what missions agencies did for the church, which is to provide help for churches to do what they otherwise can’t do on their own. Partnerships are part of that vision.
